Netflix's The Crown shines a spotlight on Queen Elizabeth II's reign, and like any biopic, some characters are more true-to-life than others. The comparisons only grew in season three, when the entire show was recast, and now season six will feature brand-new faces once again.

Keep reading to see how all the show's actors stack up against history.

The show's final Queen Elizabeth will be portrayed by Imelda Staunton, who will play the Queen in seasons five and six. "As an actor it was a joy to see how both Claire Foy and Olivia Colman brought something special and unique to Peter Morgan’s scripts. I am genuinely honoured to be joining such an exceptional creative team and to be taking The Crown to its conclusion," she said.
